Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at Woodlands Primary Phase
At Woodlands Primary Phase we provide a fully inclusive education in order to meet the needs of all pupils. All staff are experienced in teaching and supporting pupils with a full range of additional needs. Additional literacy and numeracy classes run for those students who require extra support, staffed by specialists in literacy/dyslexia and numeracy.
Woodlands is fully accessible and equipped for those students with a physical disability, and students with a hearing impairment are supported through a Hearing Impaired Resource Base.
We fully encourage communication between home and Woodlands, it is a partnership we wish to foster to ensure your child achieves more than they thought possible. If you have any concerns or information or would just like to discuss an issue, contact the SENCo (full contact details below).
