This report is testament to the hard work and dedication that has been shown throughout the year by staff and students. We have worked really hard to introduce new processes and systems to raise expectations, and ensure all students are achieving their potential, we are so pleased that we can now see such a positive impact.
Ofsted Inspection 2015
On October 7th and 8th, OFSTED led a scheduled visit to Yate Academy. The Primary school demonstrated some extremely strong practice. Each category recognises the ‘good’ work that is currently taking place with many elements also recognised as ‘outstanding’. This is testament to the dedicated work of staff and students and the wonderful support from parents.
Whilst the Secondary school is recognised as ‘requires improvement’ we are extremely confident that all the areas that need improvement have been identified and these have been addressed in the Academy Improvement Plan .
